Bear was owner surrendered due to illness.  He was a well loved indoor dog by his previous owner.  Unfortunately they didn't have the finances to keep him on heartworm prevention and he is heartworm positive.  He is currently under the slow treat and will go home with medications. 

Bear will make a great family dog.  He is well behaved, gets along with other dogs and very social.  He originally came in with a small dog that was already adopted, so he is used to being with dogs of all sizes.
