Cavender was abandoned by a western wear store in San Antonio, where he lived for over 2 months before being rescued. He doesn't like baths or grooming, but he loves people. He has been mistreated in the past, so he gets nervous when picked up. He gets along good with other dogs. He is very social and would love to be the center of attention. He has been around the children of our workers, which he loves to visit. But because of his past, we are not wanting him to go to a home with small children. He will be a great asset to a quiet family.
