Look at this happy boy. Banjo is a character. He is very friendly, likes being out in the play yard, and loves getting attention from our volunteers. It appears Banjo has not had access to food all the time. He can be food aggressive with other dogs. He has not shown any aggression to humans. He is good with small dogs, but can be pushy with large dogs. This is Banjo's second time with us. The first time we fully vetted him after he was found on the streets. We attempted to find his owners for almost two months. When we put him up for adoption, they came forward. We released him only to get a call from ACS a year later indicating he was on the streets again. They held him until his hold time was up and we were given ownership. We did talk to the previous owners. They were homeless and had been jailed for trespassing. They still did not have a stable home and we would not release the dog again. It was not a safe life for Banjo. Banjo was born around 08/23/2022 and weighs 21.6 pounds. His adoption fee is $400 , If you are interested in him, please go to our website www.adoggie4you.org and complete an application. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
