Monty was born 6/16/2023 and weighs 3.7 pounds. He is the smallest of the litter. He appears to be a Chihuahua mix, although mom is a maltese. He was from a litter of six that was surrendered to the shelter as the owner was terminally ill.

Monty is a very sweet little boy. He just loves to cuddle. He is crate/pen trained. He knows his bedtime and will sleep quietly all through the night. Potty training and pee pad training are going very well, but he is still young and has some accidents. He gets along very well with my little Shih Tzu and my larger lab mix dogs. He is also very good with children.

He will make a great lap dog. He also loves to travel in the car in his carrier, and sits very still in a sling carrier on outside walks. You can apply for Monty at www.adoggie4you.org. His adoption fee is $400.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225 . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
