Duchess is a sweet and resilient terrier with a story that showcases her incredible spirit. Found on the streets of San Antonio during a storm, Duchess had a rough start and was never reclaimed. She arrived at the rescue not knowing how to be a puppy, but she's since discovered the joys of play and friendship.

This petite pup loves playing with her new friends and has made great strides in learning how to enjoy life. While Duchess is shy around new people and can sometimes snap when she’s fearful, she has come a long way and continues to improve every day. She needs a family with patience and understanding, willing to give her the time she needs to adjust and feel comfortable.

Once Duchess warms up to you, she becomes a loyal and loving friend for life. Her gentle nature and playful spirit make her a wonderful companion for anyone ready to offer her the love and care she deserves.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
