Meet Layla, the charming female dog with a heart full of love, born on February 28, 2023. Despite her rough start, Layla's story is one of hope and resilience, awaiting a fresh chapter in a loving forever home.

Originally welcomed into a family who underestimated the dedication required for a doodle, Layla found herself in a situation where she wasn't receiving the care and attention she deserved. Recognizing their limitations, her original family made the difficult decision to seek out a new home where Layla could thrive.

Transitioning from the comforts of a home to the unfamiliar surroundings of a shelter, Layla displays a hint of apprehension. Yet, beneath her initial shyness lies a heart brimming with warmth and affection. In her previous home, Layla proved herself to be a good girl, accustomed to the love and routine of family life.

Despite the challenges of her past, Layla has made remarkable progress. Almost fully potty trained and with a penchant for play, she eagerly engages with her favorite toys, showcasing her playful spirit and endearing personality.

With a gentle approach and a patient hand, Layla blossoms into a loyal and devoted companion. She yearns for a home where she can once again experience the comfort and security of belonging, where she can shower her new family with the boundless affection she has to offer. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
