Introducing Matt, an adorable 4-month-old male puppy with a heart full of resilience and love. Born around January 12, 2024, Matt's journey has been marked by hardship and loss, but his spirit remains unbroken.

Matt and his brother Leo were found roaming the streets of San Antonio, their young lives already touched by tragedy. Their siblings, tragically, were struck by a car, leaving Matt and Leo alone and vulnerable. Covered in ant bites and facing an uncertain future, it was the intervention of a compassionate bystander that changed their fate.

A good Samaritan intervened, persuading their original owners to surrender Matt and Leo to a rescue organization. Now safe from the dangers of the streets, Matt embraces each day with a newfound sense of security and gratitude. Despite the trials he's faced, Matt's affectionate nature shines through. He adores people and craves attention, basking in the warmth of human companionship.

Playful and friendly, Matt approaches each new encounter with boundless enthusiasm. He revels in the joy of being safe, fed, and cared for, his tail wagging with happiness at the prospect of a brighter future. Having received essential veterinary care, Matt is now primed and ready to embark on the next chapter of his life – finding his forever home.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
