Once upon a time, in the quiet countryside, there was a tiny Chihuahua named Twiggy. Twiggy was born on June 18, 2023, and from the moment she opened her eyes, she was full of life and curiosity. She weighed a mere 7.9 pounds, her delicate frame barely more than a handful. Twiggy has a shining black/tan coat that shimmers in the sunlight and big, expressive eyes that seemed to take in the world with wonder.

Despite her bright beginning, Twiggy's early days were marked by hardship. One chilly evening, she found herself abandoned at a rural dump, left to fend for herself among the discarded items and debris. Cold, scared, and hungry, Twiggy wandered the dump, hoping for a miracle.

That miracle came in the form of a young couple passing thru. They had driven to the dump to get rid of a pile of trash. Luckily they saw the tiny Chihuahua. Without hesitation, they rushed over and gently picked up Twiggy, who wagged her tail weakly, sensing their kindness.

Twiggy was brought to our rescue. Twiggy has blossomed. She is an incredibly friendly little dog, always eager to make new friends, both human and canine. She is learning to walk on a leash. Twiggy loves her toys, especially a squeaky rubber bone that she carried around proudly.

Twiggy is a special little dog. She has been through a lot but remains incredibly loving and trusting. Twiggy is ready for her forever home where she can be loved and cherished. Her adoption fee is $300, and you can apply at www.adoggie4you.org.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
