Iris is an adorable dachshund puppy with a big personality packed into her tiny frame. Born on May 15, 2024, Iris is the runt of her litter, but don’t let her small size fool you—she's a powerhouse of energy and playfulness.

Her journey to our rescue began when her owner suffered a stroke, and the young children were unable to care for her and her siblings. We stepped in to help and took in the entire family, ensuring they all receive the love and care they deserve.

At just 3.8 pounds, Iris may be petite, but she has a mighty spirit. She’s a toy enthusiast who loves playing with her siblings and exploring new adventures. Iris has received her three distemper/parvo vaccinations, a bordetella, and a rabies shot, and she's already microchipped and spayed, making her ready for her forever home.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225   . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
