Meet Pistachio, an adorable 12-pound Shih Tzu mix who was rescued with his friend Chestnut after they were both found on the side of the road in need of help. Pistachio may be a bit shy and timid at first, but he’s incredibly sweet once he feels comfortable.

He enjoys playing with other dogs and, thanks to his calm and submissive nature, would likely do well in a home with children. He can be a little bossy with other dogs, but he corrects easy.

His adoption fee is $300, which includes all his vaccines, microchip, and neuter. He was born around 10/20/2021. You can apply for him at www.adoggie4you.org

Pistachio is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (OR), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (KY), or along the East Coast for an additional transport fee of $225.
