Meet Albert, a resilient and affectionate Lhasa Apso mix with a heartwarming story of survival and second chances. Albert was found in a high-traffic area, dodging danger and eluding well-meaning rescuers who tried tirelessly to bring him to safety. He was in full flight-or-fight mode, wary of anyone attempting to help. That’s when our experienced trapper stepped in, setting a humane trap to ensure Albert could be safely captured. Within minutes, Albert was on his way to a new beginning.

It didn’t take long for Albert to blossom out of his shell. Now, he’s a vibrant and social pup who lights up around other dogs and adores meeting new people. His journey from fear to trust is a testament to his resilient spirit and loving nature.

Albert is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on Bravecto and ProHeart prevention. His adoption fee is $400. He’s currently located in Texas but is eligible for transport to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (Kentucky), or anywhere along the East Coast. Please note there is an additional transport fee of $225, and we are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.
