Calvin is a beautiful soul with a heart of gold and the fluffy charm of a mini golden retriever. While we think he’s a long-haired Dachshund mix, his golden locks and sweet demeanor have everyone guessing (and swooning).

This little adventurer has quite the backstory – Calvin was rescued twice off the streets of San Antonio, earning his title as a certified escape artist. But don’t worry, with the right home and a secure yard, he’s ready to retire from his days of street escapades and settle into a life full of love.

Calvin is incredibly friendly and social – he gets along great with other dogs and would love to have a furry sibling or a stay-at-home family who can give him plenty of attention and snuggles. He thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where he’s not left alone for long stretches of time.

If you’re looking for a loyal, lovable, and slightly mischievous sidekick, Calvin might just be your perfect match. He’s ready to bring joy, warmth, and a little bit of goofy charm into your life.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
