My name is Barney and I was rescued from the Bandera County pound. I am a very smart schnauzer mix who loves to cuddle and play. I am very well behaved, but I do still need patience with my short attention spand. There is just so much to see now that I am finally free. I was in jail for several months before I was released to the girls. I am heartworm positive, but they have already started me on my slow treatment. If someone will give me a chance, I promise to be a good boy. And you won't have to worry about my heartworms, my foster said the group would provide the meds necessary to treat the heartworms.

A Doggie 4 You is a non-profit organization that typically pulls dogs from kill facilities. We intake also intake injured or ill adoptable dogs from kill facilities that need medical treatment. Our standard adoption fee is $150, or $300 for a purebred or highly adoptable dog. All monies go towards the care and placement of the dogs. The higher adoption fees from purebreds help offset the medical and surgical costs on the less desirable dogs
