My name is Wizard and I was rescued from the Bandera County Pound. I was there for a long time before the girls came and saved me. I am what you call a seasoned old boy I am about 5 or 6 years old and I am very mature for my age. I was recently given to a nursing home in San Antonio who had residents that really wanted a dog. It was a perfect fit. I was very happy and so were the residents. I made a lot of friends and even had some sleeping partners. Unfortunately one of the residents had a daughter that Hated me just because I was a dog. She threatened to hurt me if they didn't get rid of me. The residents refused, even her momma took up for me. No one took her seriously, until she beat me up while I was in my cage. My whole face was swollen from her hitting me. After that I was afraid of people getting near my cage. When my foster mommy found out, she insisted I come back home. I am starting to be my normal happy self, but I do still get a little nervous when I am in my cage now. A Doggie 4 You is a non-profit organization that typically pulls dogs from kill facilities. We intake also intake injured or ill adoptable dogs from kill facilities that need medical treatment. Our standard adoption fee is $150, or $300 for a purebred or highly adoptable dog. All monies go towards the care and placement of the dogs.
